LEONOIR

Born Omar Charroud Oukharraz in 1997 in Spain, LEONOIR

is a boundary-pushing DJ and music producer with deep

Moroccan roots. Growing up across Europe—Spain, Italy,

Belgium, and the Netherlands— he's infused his music with

an eclectic mix of cultures, making his sound as global as

his experiences. Now based in Antwerp, Belgium, LEONOIR

is a rising force in the Afro house and Afro tech scenes.

Starting his musical adventure in Milan in 2012, LEONOIR's

early experiments in EDM for local parties and friends laid

the groundwork for his unique style. Fast forward to

September 2023, Omar rebranded as LEONOIR, signaling a

bold transformation in his artistic identity. Embracing the

rhythmic energy of Afro house and the groove-driven vibes

of Afro tech, he’s creating a signature sound that reflects

both his heritage and his travels.

LEONOIR’s tracks are a masterclass in fusion combining

African-inspired beats with deep, electronic undertones,

his music pulses with life and movement. It’s a sound that’s

as personal as it is universal, rooted in tradition but

pushing forward with fresh, modern flair.
